George helps launch new Group Travel Leaflet for Mid-Cheshire Community Rail Partnership

George visited the Mid-Cheshire Community Rail Partnership at the Heritage Centre in Knutsford to officially launch their group travel leaflet for the Mid Cheshire Line. He met with representatives from the Mid Cheshire Community Rail Partnership, Mid Cheshire Rail Users Association, Northern Rail and the Heritage Centre.

The leaflet has been put together by the Community Rail Partnership to encourage groups of all ages to take trips on the Line and visit local attractions. This will help to support local businesses and attractions and encourage people to use the train to enjoy all the excellent attractions along the Line.  The guide explains how to get the group travel discount and gives details of some of the many attractions that groups might visit along the line.

George said,

“This is a fabulous leaflet which will encourage more visitors to our beautiful towns.  The great thing about it is that it has been put together by volunteers and shows how strong the community spirit is.
