George visits Knutsford exhibition on the options to improve Kings Street
Recently George went to visit an exhibition put together by the Knutsford Town Planning Working Group, exploring the options for the future development of Kings Street.
George said;
“I’m really pleased I had a chance to visit the public exhibition on the options to improve King Street.
It’s clear to me that we need to improve things for pedestrians. As a parent, I feel the pavements are too narrow and the cars too close. But banning cars altogether could damage local shops and risk emptying the town. So a balance needs to be struck – and I congratulate the Town Plan Working Group for putting together such an interesting idea. Let’s see which option the town liked most and get stuck into the debate.”
