Change a child's future

Cheshire West and Chester Council urgently need more foster carers. There is a particular need for families to look after children over five years old, siblings, teenagers and children with additional needs.

Each year millions of people in the UK fall prey to scammers. Sometimes the impact is ruinous with people losing their savings in the space of a telephone conversation, the click of a mouse or the stroke of a pen.

EU referendum leaflet

The leaflet follows precedent from previous referendums, including the previous referendum on EU membership in 1975 and the Scottish referendum in 2014. It is absolutely right that we set out to people the facts on our EU membership, and the risks of leaving.As I have said before, whether the United Kingdom should remain in or leave the European Union is a huge decision for this country and I welcome that this decision is being made by the British people as a whole.

Bees

Bees and other pollinators play a vital role in the security of our food supply and the quality of our natural environment.The European Food Safety Authority has begun a review of the science relating to neonicotinoids and bees, which is expected to conclude in the summer. We will contribute fully to this review, because any decisions must be made on solid evidence.

Junior Doctor all out strike

I believe walking out on providing emergency care is a completely irresponsible course of action, putting patient lives at risk. 90% of the contract has been agreed with the BMA, with Saturday pay the only outstanding issue.
